FOAM MOUSE DESIGN

 

 

Three different mouse designs revolving the KINETIC theme were drawn orthographically and later rendered using Photoshop. The designs were then carved, filed and sanded onto dense blocks of blue foam with focus on form and detail. Finally, a layer of gesso is brushed onto the model for a clean touch and sanded finely to achieve the smooth texture and feel similar to that of an actual mouse.

The prototype brand, KINETIC, includes a futuristic and advanced personality while the mouse design circles around a modern and robotic look and feel.
