WOODEN BENCH

Created using 100% plywood and purely carved joints with no adhesive, screws or nails, the Wooden Bench, Lili, was assembled to hold the weight of a maximum of two adults.

Together with my partner on this project, Chua Limin, we got our inspiration to create this bench by challenging its stability through its form of five condescending legs juncture at the seat platform. Due to its supporting structure, the user is able to place objects onto the five shelves as well for decorative purposes.

The joints are carefully and intricately measured and sawed to support and hold the structure into place.
